We wanted to take a quick moment to thank all of you for the warm reception you’ve extended to the newest issue of Alphabet Glue! It has been such fun to see posts begin to pop up with photos of how the projects are taking on a life of their very own in your houses. Posts like Ginny’s and Meryl’s got us thinking about the idea of organizing an exchange based on one of the projects in the issue. We thought it would be a fun way for families to share with one another, like with the nature exchange earlier in the fall, and would also give us a chance to see even more examples of people using the projects from Volume Sixteen!
We’ve decided that the popularity of the Flock Migration Mobile project makes it a natural choice for an exchange, particularly because it would also be easy to mail! To make it even easier, we are thinking that we will just have families exchange the birds from the mobile, and then assemble them into a mobile with sticks and all that good business once the birds have arrived at their new home. If you would like to be matched up with another Mud Puddles family for purposes of exchanging birds for a migration mobile, simply follow the instructions below! We hope that you will join us.
